CR Series

The CR Series is our range of automatic wire de-coilers. There are five different models in this series with a coil weight capacity ranging from 50kg - 1500kg.

The CR - 1000 & CR - 1500 models are the low level type (pictured left), they can be used for de-coiling Formers, Z Packs and normal coils of wire.

The CR - 500 is a mid level type (pictured right), it can be used for de-coiling Z - Packs, Spools and normal coils of wire.

The CR - 60, CR - 100 and CR - 200 models are the pedestal type (pictured below), they can be used for de-coiling normal coils of wire and some types of Spools.

All of the models in this series are capable of de-coiling the wire in either a clockwise or anti - clockwise direction.

Dual Speed Control
The CR Series uses a stepless motor to synchronise it's rotation speed with the speed of the machine it is attached to. These de-coilers have 2 speed adjustment controls, Speed 1 is used for normal wire feed, if the de-coiler senses that Speed 1 is inadequate, it will automatically use Speed 2 to compensate.

Automatic Power Shut-off
The Power Shut-off feature can be used to turn off the de-coiler and the machine it is attached to if there has been no wire feed for a predetermined time. (max 60 seconds) This usually happens if the wire has got tangled up.

10 Hour Timer
The CR Series de-coilers are fitted with a timer, which can be used to stop the de-coiler at a predetermined time.
(max 10 hours)

Abnormal Wire Feed Detection
This feature is used to shut off the de-coiler and the machine it is attached to when the wire runs out or for some reason, there is a break in the wire.
